Bethel Park Community Foundation's Vice President, Bill Holden presented a $10,000 check to Bethel Park Historical Society members, Tim Moury, Bill Haberthur and Lisa Jenkins at last evening's Municipal Council Meeting. This check, along with a previous $10,000 donation by the Foundation, will fund the restoration of the 1905 auditorium space at the schoolhouse. In appreciation of these donations, the Bethel Park Historical Society announced the renovated space will be named The Bethel Park Community Foundation Auditorium.
The Bethel Park Historical Society has been doing major renovations to the old schoolhouse on Park Avenue.
