Its establishment is intended to support a Bethel Park student who aspires to share the joy of learning with students and perpetually seek the best interest of children, as Cindy Schaude Buckley demonstrated for decades throughout her involvement in education.

Antonio J. Ripepi M.D. Memorial Scholar-Athlete Award

The scholarship was created to continue the legacy of Dr. Tony Ripepi, who practiced medicine and General Surgery in the South Hills for more than twenty years. Dr. Ripepi got his start at Bethel Park Senior High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and a 3 year letterman in both football and wrestling. Established in 2024, this $1,000 scholarship recognizes and rewards a Bethel Park High School Senior student who demonstrates academic excellence, athletic perseverance, and sportsmanship. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded for the first year of postsecondary education.

Michael J. Furey Memorial Scholarship

The Michael J. Furey Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017, after his untimely death in 2016. The winner of this unique award must possess the qualities Mr. Furey taught and counseled his students daily--compassion, respect, empathy, inspiration, tolerance, and accountability. The Furey Family and the Bethel Park Community Foundation have established this fund for the benefit of one Bethel Park High School senior who is a Special Education student and will be attending a TRADE or TECHNICAL SCHOOL after graduation from high school.

Kramer Family Scholarship

Bill and Suzanne Kramer established the Kramer Family Scholarship in 2018 providing financial assistance to two graduating Bethel Park High School seniors who will be attending a post-secondary educational institution.  Bill, Suzanne, and their two daughters, Jennifer and Michelle whom both graduated from Bethel Park, are very pleased to have the opportunity to offer the Kramer Family Scholarship.

Scott Beynon Memorial Scholarship

The Scott Beynon Memorial Scholarship was established in August 2018 when the Bethel Park community lost a long-time business owner, a dear friend, and a mentor to so many. For over 35 years, Scott was the owner and operator of Beynon's Service Station on Library Road. He was kind, trustworthy, hardworking, and a skilled mechanic. He used his expertise in the automotive repair field to serve thousands of people over the years. We believe he would have been proud to have inspired this scholarship to help young people with a desire to pursue a career in automotive technology.

John Deans Memorial Scholarship

The John Deans Memorial Scholarship was established in 2002 to provide financial assistance to a special education student who embraces the determination, dedication, and courage that Mr. Deans exemplified during his life as a parent, teacher, and coach.
